Hello Aspen students and alumni,
I’d like to begin by congratulating all of you for rising to the challenge of pursuing your degree. As a proud Colorado resident with a love of the outdoors, I like to compare a student’s academic experience to a hike in the mountains.
At times, it can be very challenging, and the temptation to turn around and go back to level ground is hard to resist. However, when you have the determination and continue to climb, your efforts are rewarded with a beautiful view of the valley below.
I encourage all of you to continue climbing because your degree will take you to incredible heights in your life. If your path becomes rocky and you begin to stumble, always remember that your Academic Advisor is here to lend a helping hand.
