Distance Education Accrediting Commission
Aspen University is accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC). The Accrediting Commission of the DEAC is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a recognized accrediting agency and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (http://www.chea.org/). Aspen is operating under a Mid-Term Show Cause Directive, effective February 1, 2023, and expanded on September 7, 2023. The Directive requires the institution to show cause why its accreditation should not be withdrawn. Aspen remains fully accredited for the duration of the Directive's oversight.
Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
The baccalaureate degree program in nursing, the master’s degree program in nursing, and the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at Aspen University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education ( http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).
International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE)
The School of Business and Technology at Aspen University has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) located at 11960 Quivira Road in Overland Park, Kansas, USA. Project Management Institute (PMI)
Aspen University has been reviewed and approved as a provider of project management training by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Council for Adult and Experiential Learning
