The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) announced that 35 nursing faculty from across the nation have been selected to participate in the 2019 AACN-Apple Digital Innovation Bootcamp: From Content to Action, held June 24-27 in Austin, Texas.
Aspen’s RN to BSN Program Director, Jenny Erkfitz, was one of the members of the Selection Committee for the Bootcamp. “It was an honor and a privilege to participate,” she said. “Not only has technology changed healthcare, but it has changed the face of nursing education.”
AACN launched this initiative to provide new opportunities for nursing faculty to leverage the latest technology to enhance learning in the classroom, laboratory, online, and clinical settings. Participants will enjoy sessions on preparing digital content, developing iOS mobile apps and multi-touch books, and creating an engaging learning environment.
