Certificate in eLearning Pedagogy
Certificate in eLearning Pedagogy Overview
This program prepares instructors to effectively teach online, understand the most current practices in the field of online education, and implement the range of tools that impact student learning, classroom community, and instructor pedagogy. This is a post-bac, graduate-level program, and it does not lead to any certification. For students interested in pursuing a Masters of Education with an emphasis in eLearning Pedagogy, these courses transfer into that MEd degree program.
The eLearning Pedagogy Certificate is aligned to the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE-T) standards for teachers. The program domains and goals focus on three key areas: 1) Developing expertise in the most current web-based educational tools, 2) designing high impact online lessons and assessments, and 3) promoting and advocating for effective digital learning paradigms.
