In this intensive executive level course, students will gain access to key business concepts and develop an actionable business plan designed to grow, adapt, and reposition their current business to take advantage of emerging markets, products, and 21st century business concepts. The course is build around core MBA topics of Marketing, Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Legal, Technology, and Supply Chain Management using graduate level curriculum.
Upon completion of the course, students will be prepared to implement their plan, meaning their businesses will benefit immediately. This course helps make business strategy more than actionable; students will emerge from the course with a strategy that is targeted and honed, combining their current knowledge of business and markets with results oriented curriculum delivered from industry leading faculty.
The course is 16 weeks in length delivered totally online on a flexible schedule. Assignments can be worked on at any schedule the student wished and is designed not to interfere with existing daily activities. Courses start on the below schedule:

Course Goals
Develop a deep understanding of the SMB consulting market segments and be able to analyze market opportunity using operating best practices
Develop the ability to effectively leverage entrepreneurship as a powerful driving economic force
Become proficient with consulting tools used to analyzing markets and products
Understand and apply best practice models used to leverage different elements of a supply chain
Identify strategies for staffing and leading a company
Develop an understanding of the IT value proposition and how to position offerings to deliver on this proposition
Apply concepts to link a customer’s IT strategy to measurable business value
Define and apply key metrics and measurements that link IT metrics to business metrics
Analyze and apply different approaches concerning how to manage the perceptions of technology with existing customers and position offerings to be valuable for new customers
Develop an understanding of the concepts of financial management and the time value of money
Develop an understanding of typical US capital structures
Develop an understanding of operating risks and mitigation concerning wage and hour regulations, occupational safety, workers compensation, and employee benefits
