Admission Requirements

Some degree programs have specific admission requirements
in addition to those listed below. For a list of specific
degree program requirements please visit the program
page of the degree you wish to pursue or contact an
admissions representative for details.
All candidates must submit a completed application
for admission and an application fee, payable in U.S.
dollars, to Aspen University.
NOTE: Certified Law Enforcement Personnel enrolling
in the Criminal Justice Programs are exempt from paying
the Application Fee and Credit Evaluation Fee.
In addition, applicants to degree programs are required
to provide the following:
Undergraduate Degree Programs
- An official high school transcript of the secondary school
diploma or its equivalent.
- A resume, curriculum vita or list of professional accomplishments.
- A statement of your goals reflecting the academic, professional
and personal goals that you would like to achieve through
your work with Aspen University. Your goals statement will
be evaluated by the Admissions Committee as part of the
application process.
- Three letters of recommendation attesting to your capabilities
and personal integrity. If possible, one of these letters
should be from your current employer.
- A credit evaluation fee (if you wish to have previously
earned credit evaluated for possible transfer into your
Aspen degree program).
- A Military ID or DD214 for those who qualify for the military discount program.
Masters Degree Programs:
- Evidence of a bachelor's degree in the form of official
transcripts from an accredited college or university, or
an equivalent certified degree from a recognized foreign
college or university. Official transcripts of all previous
baccalaureate and post-baccalaureate study must be sent
directly to Aspen University by the granting institution(s).

Foreign Applicants and Applicants with International
Credentials:
Applicants whose native language is not English and who
have not earned a degree from an appropriately accredited
institution where English is the principal language of instruction
must receive a minimum score of 500 (530 for Masters degree
program applicants) on the paper-based Test of English as
a Foreign Language (TOEFL), or 61 on the iBT (71 on the
iBT for Masters degree program applicants), or its equivalent.
Applicants wishing to transfer in credits or degrees earned
at institutions located outside the United States must have
their academic transcripts evaluated and certified by a
National
Association of Credential Evaluation Services, Inc. (NACES)
member organization. Applicants will be assessed a fee by
the certifying organization and should request that the
report be sent directly to Aspen University. Applicants
transferring in a degree need to request a General Report.
Applicants wishing to transfer in credits toward specific
courses in the Aspen curricula must request a Course-by-Course
