Determine Your Eligibility to Sit for the PMP® Certification Exam

The Project Management Institute (PMI®) sponsors a project management certification program. The purpose and goal of this program is the development, maintenance, evaluation, promotion and administration of a rigorous, examination-based, professional certification program of the highest caliber.

Two Credentials are currently offered by the PMI:

Project Management Professional (PMP®) Credential
One of the most valued credentials in project management, the PMP credential assures employers that you are committed to project management. Earning and maintaining this credential demonstrates a solid foundation of experience in effectively managing projects.

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) Credential
Considered an essential step for project team members, the CAPM credential can benefit a wide range of individuals who want to demonstrate a comprehensive and consistent understanding of the application of their work. By gaining knowledge of project management processes and terminology, project team members can enhance their contributions to the team’s success.

To achieve certification, each candidate must satisfy all educational and experiential requirements established by PMI and must demonstrate an acceptable and valid level of understanding and knowledge about project management that is tested by the Project Management Professional Certification Examination. In addition, those who have been granted the credential (certificants) must demonstrate ongoing professional commitment to the field of project management by satisfying Professional Development Program requirements.

Eligibility Criteria - Please visit the PMI Website for information on elegibility for Certification

Candidates applying for certification as a Project Management Professional must satisfy specific educational and experiential requirements and agree to abide by the Project Management Professional Code of Professional Conduct.
