WHAT TYPE OF ACCREDITATION DOES ASPEN HAVE?

 

Aspen is nationally accredited through the Distance Education and Training Council in Washington D.C. (DETC).

DETC is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency and is a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Aspen University is also recognized by the State of Colorado, Commission on Higher Education as an accredited degree granting institution.

The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Officially recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a national accreditation agency, the CCNE is an autonomous accrediting agency contributing to the improvement of the public's health.
